Just a quick note to remind you followers of quality local food & drink, that twice a month there is a farmers' market held in Liverpool City Centre (this Saturday - tomorrow, 4th Feb 8.30am-2.30pm, then Sat. 18th Feb - 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month).

The venue is the market square, Monument Place, London Road (see www.multimap.co.uk ) there are several car-parks nearby & Lime Street station is near by. As well as our fantastic locally-brewed Betwixt beer (though also modest, of course), plus our new guest beers, including a winter warmer from Northern Brewing, Cheshire, other regular producers supply homemade cakes, fresh bread & pastries, field-fresh veggies (2 stalls), several meat-stalls supply gourmet sausages, Welsh Black Beef & lamb, organic Lancashire meat, pies, jams, chutneys, and more.

London Road is a slightly smaller market and it seems a bit overlooked, perhaps due to its location - it seems slightly off the beaten track in the city, but is actually only a 5 minute walk from Lime Street Station (up London Road). Myself & the other producers think that these twice-monthly markets could well thrive like Lark Lane & New Ferry's, if only foodie-folks like yourselves knew it was here (every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month).
